Jason Walters, 1992 Presidential Candidate
My fellow Americans,
In these critical times, we face mounting challenges that demand leadership rooted in strength, justice, and unwavering resolve. I present to you a vision for America—a vision of safety, prosperity, and opportunity for every citizen. This is the Manifesto of Justice, a blueprint for restoring law and order, empowering our working families, and securing the future of our nation.
1. Law and Order: The Foundation of Freedom
Without law and order, our freedoms cannot flourish. The safety of our streets and the security of our homes are paramount. Under my administration:
- We will bolster law enforcement, providing them with the resources and training needed to combat crime effectively and ethically.
- We will implement tough-on-crime policies, ensuring that violent offenders are held accountable and that justice is swift and fair.
- Community policing will be expanded to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they serve, fostering trust and cooperation.
- We will combat the rise of organized crime and dismantle drug cartels that poison our communities, ensuring that justice prevails.
2. Securing Our Borders: Protecting Our Homeland
A secure nation begins with secure borders. We must take decisive action to control the flow of illegal drugs, weapons, and potential threats:
- Our border security will be strengthened with advanced technology, increased personnel, and strategic partnerships with neighboring countries.
- We will enforce immigration laws fairly and firmly, protecting American jobs while maintaining a legal pathway for those who seek to contribute to our nation lawfully.
- Efforts to combat cross-border terrorism will be intensified, ensuring that our homeland remains safe from external threats.
3. Combating the Drug Epidemic: Justice with Compassion
The drug epidemic is a crisis that demands both toughness and empathy. We must strike a balance between enforcement and recovery:
- Drug traffickers and dealers will face severe consequences, but we will also expand treatment and recovery programs for those struggling with addiction.
- Education and prevention will be prioritized, equipping our young people with the knowledge and resources to stay away from drugs.
- We will support families and communities impacted by addiction, ensuring they have access to the support systems they need.
4. Economic Opportunity: Empowering the American Worker
Economic security is the bedrock of a thriving nation. We must ensure that every American has the opportunity to succeed:
- A comprehensive economic package will provide tax relief for middle-class families and incentivize businesses to invest in American jobs.
- We will support small businesses, the backbone of our economy, through reduced regulations and increased access to capital.
- Job training and workforce development programs will be expanded, preparing Americans for the jobs of the future and ensuring no worker is left behind.
5. Education: A Future Built on Knowledge
Education is the key to unlocking America’s potential. Our children deserve a world-class education that prepares them for success:
- We will invest in our public schools, ensuring they are well-funded, well-staffed, and equipped with modern technology.
- Parental choice will be a cornerstone of our education policy, empowering parents to choose the best educational path for their children.
- Vocational and technical training will be expanded, offering pathways to success beyond traditional four-year college degrees.
6. Justice Reform: Fairness and Accountability
Our justice system must be both strong and just. We must ensure that it works for all Americans, not just the privileged few:
- We will conduct a top-to-bottom review of federal sentencing laws to ensure they are fair, effective, and just.
- Disparities in sentencing will be addressed, and we will work to eliminate systemic biases that undermine the integrity of our justice system.
- Victim rights will be strengthened, ensuring that those who suffer from crime are given the support and justice they deserve.
7. Defending America: Strength and Vigilance
The safety of our nation depends on our ability to defend against all threats, foreign and domestic:
- We will ensure our military remains the strongest and most capable in the world, ready to protect our interests and allies.
- Our intelligence agencies will be empowered to prevent and respond to emerging threats, ensuring America’s security.
- A strong national defense will be paired with diplomatic efforts to promote peace and stability around the globe.
A Call to Action
This Manifesto of Justice is not just a plan; it is a promise. A promise to restore the principles that make America great: safety, justice, and opportunity for all. Together, we will build a nation where every family feels safe, where every worker has a chance to succeed, and where justice is not just a word, but a reality.
Join me in this fight for America’s future. Together, we will restore the promise of justice and create a stronger, safer, and more prosperous nation for generations to come. This is our time to lead, our time to act, and our time to make America the beacon of hope, strength, and justice it was always meant to be.

STATEMENT FROM PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFUL, JASON WALTERS
📍 Austin, Texas
"My fellow Americans,
For nearly three decades, I’ve been on the front lines of our legal system, fighting for justice and standing up for the rights of everyday Americans. But I’ve also witnessed a troubling truth—despite our efforts, crime is rising, our communities feel less safe, drugs continue to devastate families, and the threat of terrorism looms closer to our borders. It’s clear that the time for decisive action is now. That’s why I want to share with you what the first 100 days of a Walters Administration will look like.
The first days of my presidency will be a time of action, not words. We will begin by restoring law and order across this nation. For too long, families have lived in fear—fear of walking home at night, fear for their children’s safety, fear of a justice system that feels too slow or distant. On day one, we will put in place a comprehensive crime reduction strategy. This means equipping our police officers with the resources they need, but also fostering trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Every American deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood, and under my administration, that will become a reality.
But safety is about more than just crime. It’s about security at every level. Our borders must be secure to protect us from the flow of illegal drugs and the growing threat of terrorism. In those first 100 days, we will strengthen border security, not just with walls and fences, but with technology, intelligence, and cooperation with our international partners.
While we protect our communities, we must also tackle the drug epidemic that is tearing apart the very fabric of our society. I’ve seen the faces of addiction, the families left broken by this crisis. We will hold those who peddle poison to our children accountable.
And as we confront these challenges, we cannot forget the kitchen table issues that weigh heavily on every family. The worry about making ends meet, finding quality education for their children, and ensuring that the American dream remains within reach. In my first 100 days, we will launch an economic package designed to lift up working families. We will provide tax relief for the middle class, create incentives for businesses to invest in American jobs, and ensure that no family has to choose between paying the bills and putting food on the table.
Education will take center stage. We will invest in our public schools, ensuring that every child—no matter their zip code—has the opportunity to learn and succeed. We’ll support our teachers and modernize our classrooms to prepare our children for the future. Our focus will be on empowering parents, giving them more choices, and ensuring that our education system works for every family.
But let me be clear—this is not just about policies. This is about people. This is about the parents who fear for their children’s safety, the workers who feel left behind, the communities struggling to find hope. My administration will be one that listens, acts, and delivers. We will not be satisfied with incremental change. We will demand bold action, swift justice, and real results.
This is our moment. This is our time. Together, we will reclaim the promise of America. Together, we will forge a future defined by strength, security, and shared prosperity. I am ready to lead, and I invite you to join me on this journey. Let’s make America the beacon of hope, justice, and opportunity that it was always meant to be."
